"Now, little one, didn't your momma teach you to share? Speaking of which, where is your momma, I'd like to speak to her," replied Xena. I hope at least her mother can help.

The male sat next to the two and let out a low, drawn-out yawn. "I wonder if my mother is alive," he murmured absently.

She looked up playfully. But at the last question faded her personality. " My mother was not alive long enough. And my whole litter..." she paused " Along with my father is dead. So no you cannot talk to her." She added. " But, you can talk to me!"

"Well, I'm sorry for your loss, young Reaea. How old are you, do you know how to fend for yourself?" Xena asked. Poor things, I guess they're in my care now.

Xena sighed. She comforted the young fox as best she could, and set up camp for the night.
"Well, I suppose you can come with us, Reaea," she assured the kit.

Xena nuzzled the kit, it had been so long since she had taken care of her own. She wondered if she were up to it, she was injured and eldery. I suppose with Tii to help i could do it. Xena then began to plan her escape from the City.

Raea dreamed nightmares. Very scary nightmares.
"Mom?"
" The stars will guide you."
"Mom!"
" Leave, now! I can care for the others."
" Stay, please."
"Goodbye."
Raea woke up thrashing.
( Too lazy to actually R.P.)

Xena watched the young kit sleep. She was dreaming, and Xena could tell it was a nightmare. Suddenly the kit sprang up, and Xena tried to soothe her.
"It's ok, it's only Old Xena here, you're ok. What's the matter, young Reaea?"

" Xena! Xena, The stars... The path goes north! The trees get smaller, until they are no more." She said, shaking in fear. " But if we come... We will die.

"Slow down baby, Old Xena's old ears aren't what they used to be. Now whats this about stars and small trees?" she replied.

She looked up, " The path goes north. We must follow the stars until there are no trees. Then we will reach your destination.

"Ok, baby, I understand, go back to sleep. Xena needs to think," she replied. Can we really trust a kit's dream? Then again, we don't really know where we're going anyway. Xena pondered this for a while, and decided she might as well go along with her dream.
