Sometimes It does though and when it does my family then tend to like to watch it. In the summer every year we take a trip to Linkin Rock State park just off a section of the columbia river. Its dryer on the east side then it is here on the western side of the state were I am now. Thats what I like about my homestate its very diverse. You can go from beaches in puget sound to forest covering the rest of the west side. Also towards the middle you got the cascades and the north cascades is home to some of the last of the wolf population in the state.(I made a roleplay about that area on here.) and once you get further east a got a vast prairie like environment. Its all just in a few hours worth of driving. The Colombia river is a large river in the east that flows west and drains into the ocean of Puget Sound. Linkin Rock State park is on the east side of the river close to the city of Wenatchee. Down here on the west side of the state we got a mix of rain and thunderstorms on the east side of the state they got a mix of sun, wind, and tornadoes. I remember a few years back were camping at Linkin Rock State Park. We went to a swimming area of the river just outside the campground. I remember seeing baby fish swimming in the river with the people then swiming away. Nearby a decent sized tornado was approaching the campground. My parents and everyone around took their children, starting to pack their tents and valubles but it was to late the tornado had already reached the campground. I was younger back then so I do not remember much after that.
It sounds like I'd enjoy living there, I love the rain. It's not too warm most of the year where I am, but dang it gets DRY. Around this time of year the woods are actually DUSTY. o_o Does it snow much in the winter there?
It all depends on the weather in the cascades. Sometimes their will be snow up in those mountains throughout the summer. If it remains in the mountains that long almost always there will be snow here. If it melts then rivers will be high and also no snow here in the winter. Mt. rainier one of are highest peaks in the state is actually a Volcano but even so has snow near its peak constantly throughout the year. So far this year there is no snow but last year was icy and snowy. Schools were closed, roads were frozen solid,The icy streets made the news report as it took people 8 hours to get home from work on the city bus because the roads were so bad. This happened last year around the time of thanksgiving. It repeated it self most of the winter. It was also statewide. Some areas got 6 inch of snow and a few areas even got over a foot of snow. It's hard to say when it's going to snow here but yes it does snow and often times it gets pretty bad when it does snow at all.

I don't. I will swat a fly when it land near my food but i do not do that. Insects are ancaint creatures as they have been here before and after the dinosours. They say that the last creature on earth after the world ends will most likely be an insect of some sort such as the cockroach. If there is a boss on this earth that would be bugs. The only reason we can even coniser is because we are the only species that have the capability to think, have emotions, and manipulate the earth like how we can turn vast forests into man made cities. other life forms on earth can not do that. Even so we are we more recent than the insects.
Humans (known taxonomically as Homo sapiens,[3][4] Latin for "wise man" or "knowing man")[5] are the only living species in the Homo genus. Anatomically modern humans originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago, reaching full behavioral modernity around 50,000 years ago.[6]

Humans have a highly developed brain and are capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving. This mental capability, combined with an erect body carriage that frees the hands for manipulating objects, has allowed humans to make far greater use of tools than any other living species on Earth. Other higher-level thought processes of humans, such as self-awareness, rationality, and sapience,[7][8][9] are considered to be defining features of what constitutes a "person".[10][11]
The evolution of insects dates back to the Devonian period, with the oldest definitive insect fossil being the Rhyniognatha hirsti, estimated at 407 to 396 million years ago. Global climate conditions changed several times during the history of the earth, along with it the diversity of insects. The Pterygotes underwent a major radiation in the Carboniferous while the Endopterygota species underwent another major radiation in the Permian. Survivors of the mass extinction at the PT boundary evolved in the Triassic to what are essentially the modern Insecta Orders that persist to modern times. Most modern insect families appeared in the Jurassic, and further diversity probably in genera occurred in the Cretaceous. It is believed that by the Tertiary, there existed many of what are still modern genera; hence, most insects in amber are, indeed, members of extant genera. What seems most fascinating is that insects diversified in a relatively brief 100 million years (give or take) into the modern forms that exist with minor change in modern times.
our 200 thousand years of existance can not compare to the insects 407 million years of existance. Many ancaint insects could have easily eaten us. There once lived dragonflys whos wingspans alone reached two and a half feet. Just be thankful that we do not live in those times. Think about that next time you attempt to show an insect "whos boss" because in reality insects rule us all in the game of survival.
