Old movie topic

Post by animalguy888 »

This is a topic that was meant to try to revive movies that you do not here many kids talk about these days. The movies from times like 1977,1987,and even 1996...

This is a topic to share scenes from your old movies you have watched, parts of the soundtrack you liked etc. Anything having to do with old movies. Just try not to spoil the ending for people...

Ill start!

yesterday I watched a 1984 film called ghostbusters. Here are a few of the scenes I found cool or funny.

Gasp! 1996! So old!...I like "Watership Down' and "Plague Dogs." They just don't make animated movies like they used to...

EDIT: And Bambi!

bambi is pretty good. The old disney movies are great except dumbo. I can never get passed the fact that they abused the elephents. It makes me sad at the thought. It also makes me wonder why the creators included such a thing in their film.

In other words just finished ghostbusters 2. It is the 1989 sequal to the 1984 original film.

I find it the funniest during the mayhem scene. Just see for yourself.

favorite scene
man on phone:"lieutenant i think you may have to handle this one." lieutenant:"im busy" man on phone: "Its some dock superviser down at peir 34. He says the Titanic just arrived." Meanwhile on the peir 34... man 1: stares in fear at ghost titanic. man 2 says: well its better late then never.

When I saw all that I could not help but laugh a bit.

heres the scene were the spray the statue of liberty with haunted slime and use music to bring it to life. (warning rude but funny comments from some of the characters. They rated stuff differently back in 1989 and I believe this movie is rated PG so overall its ok.)

old yeller is amazing.Though some parts seem sad to me.

Have you ever seen walking thunder?

Its a great 1997 pioneer themed movie.
In the 1850's, a young boy and his family on their way West become stranded in the Rockies. With the help of a local mountain man, a Sioux medicine man, and a legendary bear knows as "Walking Thunder," the boy learns to become a man, and his family's survival is secured. Brian Keith narrates this family western adventure, which won a Silver Award at the WorldFest Film Festival.
Heres a trailer for it that I found on youtube.
