(You can skip a bit - the links are examples, and the Rules/Instructions
are all I need to a commission request. I'm SO SORRY I talk too much!)
I'm looking into trying to do commissions again. I hope to eventually
make money off of it, but for now it's entirely free. I'd prefer to
practice first, to get the hang of interacting and whatnot. So!
I use GIMP. My strongly preferred digital style is pixel art. I'm simply
the most familiar with it, and it's the easiest and most fun for me.
Sorry if I can't do it in your own preferred style. And while they're all
sort of MY collective style, each image still has its own unique little
style-twist to it.
I mostly draw animals and nature. Modern, man-made objects or
scenes I still have to practice, definitely, but I won't outright condemn
them. The Anime-oriented style is also not something I'm familiar with,
so any requested characters of that style might turn out rather different
than you might prefer.
I can draw a single focus, pictures without a background. (Not a proper
term, but I don't always know terms, sorry) Although the examples given
MAY have a little excess space that I wouldn't normally allow on a
finished picture.
Mr. Oddity, Turkeys, Mieerka, Titmouse, llama,
I can also draw scenes, or added backgrounds.
Bungon, Lechwe, Squickle
Please Note: NONE of the above images are free to use. Do NOT use them. They
are my property, and took time. They are only being used as examples
of my work.
The extent of detail is entirely up to you. However, drawing detailed
and realistic grass is an excessive pain, and I might not be able to
always do it quite so perfectly as you may prefer.
So feel free to request absolutely anything, but forgive me if I can't quite manage
to the extent that you see it in your head. I will do my best though -
I get practice from it, so of course I will do what I can.
The rambling introduction aside...
Rules and Instructions to a commission:
If you want a commission, simply post below with as much information
that you can give. References are encouraged.
Please try to include:
Species/breed (or otherwise, a detailed description of your made-up critter),
positions, markings, scenery and the background (if desired), lighting and
shading (if desired), and the image size (exact or general).
Please note, "if desired" isn't quite a yes/no question. If you don't want it, then
just say no. If you do, try to detail that as much as possible, as well.
If you NEED a form...

Feel free to include anything extra you see fit.
No such thing as too much, don't worry.

Appearance: Black, white star and horn
Position: Rearing
Scenery/Background: Midnight, grassy hill/or up to you
Lighting/Shading: Up to you
Image size: Up to you
Nothing Extra
or background or size, please say so. I can't read minds, I really need
you to tell me what you want. In few cases you might be able to allow
the appearance up to me, but that's entirely uncommon... or in the case
of just wanting something very generic, like an elephant, and not a
specific character.
Feel free to throw in little requests, like if you want an image consisted of
specific colors, or any other little ideas you have. If anything is confusing
or conflicting, feel free to ask me - and likewise, I'll ask you. And if you
want anything changed, feel free to say. It's for you.
Just understand that it takes time for me to finish something. Sometimes
it will be quick and easy, and sometimes... not so much. I'll also serve in the
order of posts: first person, second person, and so on. I won't go out of order.
And DON'T remove my copyright, mllerose, from the image. Give me credit as
it's due. I did put time into your image, and it's even free. Please, I would
deserve at least the credit...
(Mllerose is a clever little signature that's dear to me. M-L-E = Emily, Emily Rose
is my first and middle name. Mlle is "mademoiselle," the French for Miss, and I'm
fond of French. So it's sort of combining my name and my fondness of French.)
... and if you have any suggestions in general... Like how to summarize better...
lol Feel free to give that too. Won't take offense to anything.
