"Well, you are a stranger. Soro and I have pretty much been alone except for the chicks so having someone new around is a little unerving," she replied.

Soro stood and shook some sand from his feathers than sat again, unaware of the ambush that was soon to come, listening to the conversation between Rip and the new male.

Shale nodded, looking back down at the dirt. "Yes, I understand. I'll be leaving as soon as possible... When I can actually get up." He laughed weakly.

Soro squinted a little...He had some thinking to do.

"Well, ok. I'm not one for leaving others for dead, so no worries," Rip laughed, "that little female has grown fond of you anyway,"

Just then Evo have the signal and all of the chicks including himself charged Soro

He raised a eyebrow at the small female chick who was looking up at him with a curious expression. "Does she talk? I've heard them all talk except this one." Shale motiones to her with a claw.
He watched as the chicks all charged their father. He frowned sadly and stared at the ground again.

Soro looked back to see the attack. "HELP!" He yelled and ran, the chicks right on his tail.

Rip laughed at Soro. "Not really, shes always very quiet," Rip replied.

"Faster"Evo called to the others gaining speed

Soro was soon on the ground as two chicks managed to latch onto him. They were about half his size so it wasn't hard for them to get him to the ground. "HELP!!!" He yelled again before the one armed chick jumped onto his head.

Evo and the others started to jump on their father making their father say "HELP"again

"Get 'em, get 'em!" Rip encouraged the chicks.

Soro glared at Rip before managing to stand up, then he was down again.
