Confused, the baby copied her stepfather.

Rip revived her mate and the chick. "They're not supposed to talk that early. Ours don't talk now. Now little one, you want a name. Well, how's Scarlet sound? Or Blood?" she asked.

[dinoman]

Soro stood up. "What'd I miss?" He said groggily.

[Grep42]

"Nothing really," Rip said.

[dinoman]

Soro nodded. "Good."

[Grep42]

"Yup, I'm going foraging," she said. She went out to find some carrion.

[dinoman]

Soro nodded and gathered the chicks around him, keeping them warm, due to night creeping up on the desert.

She trotted away, following the smell of rotting galimimus. She found that another creature had come to eat as well, an oviraptor. She growled and backed away slowly.

Soro soon dozed off.

Rip left it alone. She went to another food source, a rodent den she new was occupied. Rip stuck her head inside and pulled out a couple of the babies. She hurried home.

Soro tiredly scratched his nose and continued sleeping.

Rip dropped the rodents beside her familly and went to sleep too. The last couple of days had been pretty tough.

Grey spotted the two aloramious brothers. Snarling, she stood in front of her "chicks" and stood her ground.

Soro slowly but surely fell onto his side.

Ther looked around. Nothing. He sighed and lay down before falling asleep.

The next morning Rip got up before the sun did. She sat outside the thicket and watched carefully.

Soro slowly awakened as the sun began to rise, he looked around, yawned and got onto his feet, stumbling to where Rip was, where he nuzzled into her before returning to the chicks and laying down near them, dozing off again during the lazy hours of the morning.

Ther heard roaring and bellowing, and the herd crested the hill to see that the bellowing wasn't what they hoped to see, yes it was a therizinosaurus, but it was currently being killed by a trio of tarbosaurs. The herd moved as quick as they could away from their dying kin and it's killers.
