Soro had layed down by now and was napping, maw still stained with dried blood, and he was just completely relaxed on the sand.

Rip was suddenly worried about everything, the nest, the other creatures, even Soro could be a danger to... she didn't know what. She became a blur of busyness, clearing the nest, marking the den as hers, and chasing away furry things.

Soro opened his eyes to see RIp fussing about. "Is there a fire or something?" He asked, standing up and shaking his feathers of dirt and sand.

"...No, everything is just so, um, dangerous," she replied, still rushing around.

[dinoman]

Soro blinked for a second before grabbing her gently by the tail with his maw and stopping her. "Dangerous? Little furry things are dangerous?" He asked as he expertly sliced into one with his switchblade claw. It fell dead and bled on the sand.

Rip appeared a little confused herself. "I just don't like them," she said, thought in reality she had no idea either.

"Well neither do I, the fur tickles your throat." Soro said. "But one night and your suddenly on edge, I don't get it." He said.

She shook her head, not understanding either. "Well, must be the weather," that was her mother's famous excuse for everything, "looks like rain."

Soro looked up. Clear blue skies, blaring sunlight. "Rrrright." He said, blunt and unamused.

Rip nodded, and went back to her work. By the time it was midday, the camp was perfectly tidy and there wasn't a furry thing for miles.

Soro shook his head and let her work while he marked the boundaries and watched furry things run past, some hissing at him as he watched before hurrying off.

Rip, tired from her work, was pleased to see that night was coming. She slinked into the den for the night.

Soro shook his head and followed her in. He layed down next to her and fell asleep.

The next day, Rip didn't leave the den. In fact, she kept Soro a good twenty feet from the den. She was not in the mood to deal with him.

Soro stared at the den, banned from it or the day. At first it was. "WHAT'D I DO?!" For a few hours, then it was. "Will you let me in? I'm still tired." Finally, it became: "I get to come back in tonight, right?"
