Foxes of the city

[Summerbreeze]

She walked and walked for miles. Finally she came up on another fox. She hid in in a bush, hiding. And waited until a snake startled her. She jumped and the leafs around her made a noise. She was done for.

Xena swung around quickly and growled. Oh, its only a kit. Where's its parents? she wondered.
"You almost gave me a heartattack! Where are your parents, I need to speak with them," Xena said.

[Summerbreeze]

She came out from behind the bush. Shyfully wagging her tail " Two legs don't like foxes." She stated quietly. " They have long macheines that go BOOM and knock down foxes."

[Foxesrule]

Velvet sighed at the fox. "i got knocked out of the Windyspiral to get back here. This is my home right now. Anyway, what is you name?"

[Swifty]

Tii blinked, gettin out of his 'blank out', as he calls it, and shook his head erratically. "What happened?" he mumble to the older female quietly.

[Grep42]

"Oh, we just met a new fox. And, yes I know about the dangers of twolegs," replied Xena. She was still a bit startled, and talked quickly.

[Mindy]

He grimaced, then scowled. "You didn't tell me your name, first," he pointed out. He was stalling, but it would really come out to sound smart-aleck. He'd been called a brat before.

[Foxesrule]

Velvet sighed-Again. "I've already told you."

[Mindy]

He blinked. Had she...? He struggled to remember it. He couldn't. "Well, then..." he was a bit taken aback, but then quickly pushed the confusion away fiercely. Ugh! He hated social interactions. Everything was so confusing, and somehow, he knew he'd lose somehow. "It doesn't matter, anyhow!" he decided angrily. Rat backed up a couple steps, then looked to the side, scowling. His ears pressed to his head nervously.

((xD Don't worry, I know her name, and when she said it. Just forgot, but that forgetfulness ended up being useful....))

" Hi, whats your name?" she asked. " Mine is Raea."

"I am Xena, and this is Tii. May I ask you a question young Raea?" Xena asked, trying to be pleasant. Again, she was not good at making friends.

She glared at Xena " Of course." she said with ease, her mother had told her not to ever look another in the eyes. When she did so, pain welt up inside her. Making her young face look... so much more complicated than it was. But that was life. " Ask away."

Aww, it's so cute. She's so young, though, can she really help us? Xena thought. "Well, I am returning to my homeland, the forest. Tii is accompying me because I am so weak, and cannot hunt. Can you show us through the city, please?" Xena made her voice as pleasent as possible, she's scared away other foxes before. This would be a lot easier if us foxes were more gifted socially she thought to herself.

She looked at them quizzicly " What is the See-Tee? Is it a place where you get food? I am very hungry!" She said. She paused cocking her head, " Did I metion I was hungry?"

Xena sighed, this was hopeless. "City is here, all these twoleg buildings and flat rock is City. And I suppose if your hungry I'll get some food, since Tii is in one of his weird blank spells."
She limped away to find some people, who didn't come here that often. She saw some fishers, and tried her begging trick, but they only chased her off. Xena eventually found some garbage food and brought that back.
"Here you go."
