Soro had eaten his fill and lay down next to the carcass, falling asleep.

Rip was getting nervous. Snap was leading to the lake, where she knew the tabosaurus lived. She tried to get his attention, but he just continued ahead with a determined look in his eye. Normally, Rip would trust Snap with her life, but not now. Ever since he attacked the tabosaurus in the beginning she found him very impulsive. She whimpered at him when the lake was in sight, hoping he would change his mind.

Snap was frustrated. In his opinion, that tabosaurus had ruined everything. He was ready to chase it away once and for all. Rip was starting to get in the way though. Why did she want them to leave? Didn't she want to avenge their children? She went to the length of biting him when they got close. Rip never attacked him before.

Scarface looked around. There were large prey now. And one was the Therizinosaurus, the most dangerous. Its huge claws were its weapons. Wandering away, he heard a screech. Already, he knew what dinosaur made that noise. He turned to the direction of the sound and roared.

Soro woke and hid the carcass under a scrub bush as best he could before heading to the lake to get a drink. He noticed the therizinosaurus and tarbosaurus from way off, and went to the far side of the lake before dipping his maw into the water and drinking.

Rip heard a huge roar close by. She just couldn't handle it anymore and gave Snap a warning bark. He turned to look at her and nodded, and looked in the direction of the roar. Rip whimpered, and gave another frantic bark. She felt trapped between fear and loyalty to her mate. "We can't fight it, you're forgetting how big tabosaurus' are!" Rip tried to tell him.

Snap was shocked how reluctant she was to fight. "Come on, we can take him," he replied, "trust me." "No!" she screeched at him when the tabosaurus was in sight. Snap looked after her as she ran, and turned around to see his enemy.

Soro noticed the violence and snuck through some scrub bushes and hid to watch a single velociraptor challenge a tarbosaurus. He would not help the other raptor because it was not one he knew.

Rip ran. She stopped to look back only once, then ran again. I should be back there, I should help him one side of her mind reasoned, but the other only screamed DO NOT GO BACK THERE, WHATEVER YOU DO JUST RUN!

Snap looked up at his adversary. He could not face this beast alone, he needed Rip. The was the smell of tabosaurus everywhere, but something else, velociraptor. Snap ran at the tabosaurus, hoping Rip was just planning an ambush.

Soro watched the other raptor charge. "Quick death." He muttered.

[Grep42]

Rip finally stopped running. She felt horrible about abandoning her only family to face the jaws of a tabosaurus alone. It had been such a stressful and chaotic couple of days, she just couldn't take it. Why, Rip thought, didn't he run away. Tabosaurus was almost 20 times his size, with huge teeth. She hid in a thicket, whimpering and waiting to hear her mate screech.

Scarface roared again, and the screech maker emerged from the trees. It was a female Therizinosaurus. She screeched again. Scarface paid no attention to the Velociraptor and charged for the Therizinosaur.

Rip finally decided it was better to stand and fight with her mate. She ran over to see the tabosaurus ignoring him again.

Snap was furious. It's the third time he's challenged this beast, and yet again it ignores him. Secretly, he's relieved, but on the outside he is ready to bite it's head off.

Rip went and hid in some bushes untill the tabosaurus left. There was another velociraptor in the thicket. "What are you doing here?"

Snap watched the tabosaurus that was ignoring him. He was sure this ignoring was only to infuriate him, so he left with his head held high. He instead went to investigate that stranger velociraptor smell.

Soro found that a female velociraptor had ran into the thicket. He growled and backed away before flashing his claws and teeth. "I'm scouting out my lonesome territory when I happened upon this scene." He said.

[Grep42]

She growled back at him, "Your territory? Me and Snap claimed this land!"

Snap found Rip threatening a male velociraptor. He joined in, puffing up his feathers to seem bigger than he was.

Soro growled and snapped at the female. "Well get going, I don't like intruders." He growled, before turning to see the male. "You look puffy, go back to your giant lizard." He said in a mocking tone.
