Re: Shadow Wolves REBORN (Wolf Roleplay)
SunJewel walked through the forest. She caught the scent of a mouse. Yes, a poor little mouse. Easy snack. She followed the scent to an open area. In the dirt she saw the mouse. She crouched, then pounced. Done. A claw dug into it and the mouse was dead. She picked off everything but the bones and fur. She didn't have that nauseous feeling, but her stomach still growled for more. SunJewel walked away, back into the forest. She froze. To her surprise there was a rabbit just in front of her. She dared not make a sound, but pounce. She had gotten its scruff and couldn't get in another position or it would run. Though she liked getting a prey's death go fast. She hated seeing their pain. She pinned it to the ground, then stepped on it. She opened her mouth and bit it's neck. It was gone. She picked off almost everything but skin. Her stomach growled, but didn't attack her. She was full, though her stomach was too small. She had lay down for a short nap. She needed it.

Re: Shadow Wolves REBORN (Wolf Roleplay)
(Don't worry Alex, I won't hold that against you. Just go back to being your blond self.)
Kazimo raced through the trees, anger and confusion mixing deep within his stomach. He felt offended, though why he couldn't quite tell; Soon he felt the memories he had once supressed surfacing up again.
Blood... there's blood. Is it mine? Are They angry? He told me not to fight...
Snarling, the green eyed wolf came to a halt just inside the treeline, lying down to allow the memories to take hold of him- it was easier to give in than to fight back.
Grey... dead eyes. Dead but breathing. Why is that? ... He's sad. He's angry I hid... He's angry... His eyes are breathing... We have to get out...
The red wolf whined lowly, eyes scrunching together as the voices began to argue.
But he said not to fight! They are stronger... We have to get out... We can't fight... There's more blood. It's not mine... His eyes different- he looks desperate... He wants hope... The Furless is back-
Kazimo didn't know when it happened, but soon he was asleep- the memories becoming vivid pictures flashing before his eyes.
He saw a young grey colored wolf ahead from his place between the Furless's front limbs- the other might have been five or six months old. Dusky green eyes stared at the grey heap, relief gathering in his body at the absence of any crimson liquid. The Furless opened the gate and shoved him in, causing the rusty colored youth to yelp as he hit the rocky floor- rock when it should have been soft and green...
The green eyed wolf forced himself onto his legs after the Furless had left again, shutting out the yellow light once more. He unsteadily stumbled to the smaller grey heap, nosing it slightly. "Hey, wake up..."
The grey bundle stayed still for a moment, before it raised its head- the rust colored wolf felt his breath hitch slightly at the eyes.
"Oh, gods..."
Eyes that should have been a dark grey a few months ago were not paler and seemed to be tinted blue. And they looked dead.
They had changed since yesterday's visit.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault... I'm sorry, please... I'll get you out, promise- I'll get you out if it kills me..." The green eyes pup rambled, apologizing over and over for what had happened.
"... It's okay. It doesn't really hurt if I don't think about it..." The voice was nothing more than a silky whisper, grey eyes staring into the dusky green. "Yours have changed, too... they seem brighter than before."
"But I'm used to it by now- your not! Why don't you ever try to-"
"We can't fight back, and you know it! If I tried to fight back, I would only end up like you- broken and beaten and tested on every single night until I ran out of blood!" The grey wolf snapped back, grey eyes aflame with regret and sorrow. "It's my fault, and you know it... If I had stayed where I was supposed to, and not wanted to visit you, maybe you wouldn't be fighting back and dying because of it..."
"But I'm not dying. I'm fine, really- but you can't take as much as I could... you're lucky they only seem interested in me."
The other pup fell silent, before-
"Kazimo."
Bright green eyes fluttered open, trying to focus on the blurs and smudges from just waking up.
That voice hadn't been a part of his dream...
"Why are you asleep out here, you dolt? You could get sick." The voice was still there, and it sounded familiar- familiar and annoyed.
"T'sor..." He mumbled blearily, looking up at the blue-grey wolf with silver eyes.
Eyes that should have been dark grey...
"You are such a hopless idiot. You've been missing, you know. I was worried sick about you, and here you are off in your own little stupid world asleep," Tasor began to scold him. "And what about the rest of the pack? Malcom's probably glad you're gone, but Tazim is probably just as worried as I was! I swear, if you-"
"Your eyes are different."
The words halted Tasor's lecture, silver eyes widening slightly at his friend. "I thought you forgot...?"
"Yha, well, I'm starting to... remember them, I guess. Just a bit of it."
"What did you remember?"
Kazimo shrugged his shoulders, the fur on them glinting a brighter red than normal. "Just one of the nights, after they started messing around with you. Your eyes were... lighter than before. Not by much, but enough."
Tasor lowered his eyes. "Well, we're out now, and that's all that matters. Right?"
Kazimo gave a small huff. "Tas, what happened might still be affecting us now. Like my leg- none of the others seem to have noticed it's a bit too clean cut to be from an old battle. And my ears- one of these days they'll find out, and will be just as bad as last time. The only difference now is that we don't have someone we care about enough to willingly share it with. If we keep our mouths shut, then it'll be good and dandy, but we still have to figure out how much more the Humans have left us to deal with."
Tasor blinked. "Oh... right," he muttered awkwardly. Since when was Kazimo the one to come up with plans or worry over things? And how would he react if he knew Tasor had already told someone else part of their story...? "I get it, Kaz. Now let's head back. There's been more wolves than normal around the border lately, and..."
Kazimo tuned out the rest of the speech, trotting ahead of Tasor.
His leg felt weird, but not the numbing that usually came over- it felt like his very blood was on fire.
(SOooo that's part of their history... I'll probably tell the rest for anyone who is interested through more flashbacks or MAYBE they open up to anyone... doubtful. Also, Summer, can I just pretend that Enzo and Cashew separated since there was a time skip? o3o)

Keme's ear twitched and he looked at her with a shrug. "He's you ex, not mine. Your choice."
Dire kept his gaze on the dirt as he answered her, an unfocused look in his eyes. "Yeah.. what your story?"

Re: Shadow Wolves REBORN (Wolf Roleplay)
(Kk) Icestorm was sick of hearing shdowheart. Really sick. so she answered " I have to go." So she went out side and saw Enzo " Mizz Iccceeeyy!" he screeched. "Shhh. You have to leave."
Enzo cocked his head "I wanna go see the red one!" he said
Icestorm felt a growl escape her lips " Kazimo? Sure lets go!" she yelled she could smell them getting closer and closer. She needed to get Enzo out of here.
She picked up enzo and sprinted as fast as she could. Away from where it was happening: ( Time skip 45 min.) They were almost there. They could see the shape of numerous wolfs the main den and a stream. A stream! she thought I can drink water! So she spent about five minutes there. But after that she ran down a slope and was at the main den. awaiting somebody anybody to talk to. The past few days have been really hard. So in the end she fell asleep in the warm grass outside.
( Someone wants to kill Shadowheart.)

okaay. well since you wanted Dire to follow her... /lazy halfassed post))
Dire looked at the two older wolves hesitantly before walking out of the den quickly and making his way behind the she-wolf, who seemed to be already a querter mile away. Frowning, he broke into a run. "Ice?" he called, ears laying back.

Re: Shadow Wolves REBORN (Wolf Roleplay)
Kazimo & Tasor
Kazimo stalked forward, the main den in sight. Tasor followed quietly, mulling over his own thoughts.
His friend had once said that he had managed to suppress most of the memories at his own will- he could remember that what had happened was bad, and sometimes he would see something that reminded him of something, but he didn't know the actual details of their lives. Tasor on the other hand had never been able to suppress the memories, which probably meant that the excessive testing on Kazimo had lead the losing part of his memories.
And now his memories were returning...
If the suppression had been caused by the testing, and now they were returning, did that mean the effects were wearing off?
Did it mean that in a year or so, Kazimo would go back to his original tawny brown color with hazel green eyes, and Tasor would go back to being a dusky grey with darker grey eyes?
Did it mean that Kazimo's leg would stop its numbing relapses?
Tasor eyed his friend's injured leg, noticing how Kazimo was wincing when it hit the earth- odd, since when it did relapse he usually felt nothing in it at all, not even pain.
Was that a sign of healing muscles and nerves?
In Tasor's opinion, Kazimo had it lucky- Kaz had been brought to the lab when he was maybe five months old, and had seen the outdoors. Tasor had always been in the lab since he was a newborn with eyes shut tight; he had never seen the outdoors or sunlight or stars or rivers... He had no memories to recover. He didn't have the hope of remembering his parents, if he had siblings, or if he had been in a pack...
Kazimo on the other hand had those memories- he had that drive to want to know more, to learn more. His body had been heavily damaged, but he clearly wished to have all of his memories back once more- and in the process, his body to heal again.
Tasor was so lost in thought that he hardly noticed when Kazimo suddenly stopped, causing the smaller to nearly run into him.
"Looks like someone was waiting for us," Kaz muttered as he stared at the white figure asleep in the grass.
Cashikiru
Cashikiru ran through the trees, snapping at butterflies- whether they were actually there or not was undecided- with her jaws, giggling madly when she 'caught' one of the bugs. "Kipper, this one is soo pretty!" She exclaimed, eyes following an invisible thing in the air. "If I ever see you, I want you to be even prettier!"
...
Cashew pouted. "Of course males can be pretty. Why wouldn't they be?"
...
She huffed, imaginary butterfly forgotten. "Just because your'e pretty doesn't mean you have to be feminine. Not everything is black and white, Kip!"
...
"Don't bring my eyes into this."
...
"Ugh, fine! When I do find you, I will not describe you as feminine or pretty. You'll be very handsome and not afraid of anything, and you'll be perfect and I can finely have pups!"
...
Her eye twitched. "I would to make a great mother- I was putting those pups out of their misery. Their mother was dead and they wouldn't have lived long anyways."
...
"They were the only food around! How else was I to not starve?"
...
"Ugh, Kipper, you argue too much," she grumbled before padding out of the tree line, only to see figures off in the distance- they seemed to be walking together towards the hills. She narrowed her eyes, trying to see them better, and was able to figure out that one of them was red and the other blueish grey. "Those are odd colors, aren't they, Kip?"
Silence.
Cashew frowned. "Kipper? You there?"
Still nothing.
Cashew cocked her head sideways, puzzled, as she watched the figures reach the crest of the hill they had been on. "Odd... Kip usually answers all my questions, not go all quiet..." She mumbled to herself before turning around and walking back into the thick foliage to find more butterflies.

Dire sat in the soft grass as it swayed softly, eyes trained on anything but the pup, Ice and the two males.

Re: Shadow Wolves REBORN (Wolf Roleplay)
(Swift, I know what you mean. ;-;)
Kazimo covered his semi-sour mood with a mischievous grin. "Well, I'm glad the kid likes my fur. Seems like nobody can resist this-" He spoke jokingly, striking a pose with his chest fur puffed out in a proud manner. Tasor rolled his eyes before stepping in front of his friend, blocking the red's antics.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Dire, sir." He spoke politely to the not-so-stranger-but-still-stranger wolf before turning his attention to the pup. "And it's nice to meet you, kid, but I wouldn't get your hopes up about Kazimo. He tends to be an idiot." The silver eyed male allowed just enough teasing to enter his voice, figuring it would signal to the others that he wasn't being serious.
Which, secretly, he was.
