Name an important or famous animal you miss, if you want, explain why.

I will miss Lonesome George, he was the only chance for his kind and he will be missed.

I will miss:

Every single animal that has died or became extinct... Because they are all brave, strong, beautiful and all have feelings. Just like us.

(I've just been posting R.I.P on the Chicken Smoothie forums about my pets who have died...It's a veeery long list. Well, I couldn't rmemeber most of them. xD)

I will miss that noblest of creatures: the velociraptor. With bull-like tenacity, beautiful plumage, and a clever mind the velociraptors shall stay in my mind forever. Rest in pieces, my velociraptors.

Having not been familiar with this "Lonesome George", I preformed a simple Google search, and found this article.

Quite touching, in a morose kind of way.

The animals that have been driven to extinction directly due to the human race's actions bring the most sadness and concern to me.
We are causing the loss of biodiversity, and many of us do not care. The extinction of any species is saddening, but those in which my own species is directly involved causes guilt.

Trashed the off-topic posts.
Grep, seriously, quit with the double posts. There's an edit button, use it. I think it's a pretty handy tool. If I can't put that opinion through YOUR mind, I'll have to Warn you.
Don't lose my respect, it only gets worse.

Also, take arguments somewhere else where it would be more useful and less dramatic, like the PMs. It would also be useful to discuss it in the Debate Topic if you want more than one person to join in. I'd suggest you'd want to read my rules there before you decide to open your mouth about it, though.

Thanks.
