As the sun goes down, the birds go to their roosts. The humans yawn, and lazily climb into their bed. Dogs curl up in their baskets, and the mice look out for any cats, scuttling into their homes. It may seem everyone has gone to sleep- But that's just stupid. We wake up, into this mysterious world. Bats screech and owls hoot, diving at their next victim. This is a different world. We are the creatures of the night.

You may be confused, right? No-one can blame you. In this roleplay, you play as a 'Creature of the night', or simply an animal that is most active at night or nocturnal. This even means you can be a cat, fox, bat, owl, cricket. Whatever you want to be, aslong as it comes out at night!

Rules:

1. Do not Bob mod.
2. Do not control other peoples characters.
3. I control the weather, and when the sun comes up again, etc in italics.
4. Be an animal that comes out at night. Nothing else. If you want you can even be a nocturnal fish.
5. Have fun...Or you will suffer the consequences!

Soro peered out of his tree hollow, awaiting night so he could hunt. He turned and sat, waiting for the sun to fall, to be replaced by the moon and stars.

The sun slowly sinks into the horizon, and soon the full moon becomes visible.

Shade screeched, and sensed a moth. The sound waves were bouncing back to him, and he dived at it, and crunched it in his mouth. Shade simply opened his mouth and let some mosquitos fly in. He swallowed, and he had already eaten..What? 10 mosquitos?

Soro took to the skies as the sun dissapeared, almost completely silent. He flew higher and looked below, and saw a bat on its hunt. He aimed at it and dived, silently, down at it and prepared his talons to attack it. (yes, it's shade)

Shade nearly hit himself. He had been screeching, and he had noticed the owl, but he hadn't reacted. Shade screeched loud enough for the owl to hear, and flapped urgently towards the clouds.

Soro screeched in pain as the sound reached his ears. He chased after the bat, he wasn't built for a chase however. If the bat went downwards then he'd be good to go.

Shade looked behind him urgently. He was getting closer and closer to the stormy, dark clouds. He kept on flapping rapdily upwards.

Soro continued on, then he had an idea, he stopped chasing from behind and went around. He flapped his wings quickly to get above the bat, then he dove at it, silently, hoping the bat didn't notice. He prepared his talons as he got close.

Shade found himself laughing and screaming at the same time. Of course he could see the owl, with his echo vision and eye sight. Shade turned around, hoping a talon wouldn't scratch him.

Soro found himself falling for a second in his shock, then regained his flight pattern and chased after the bat.

Shade screeched, and found himself munching on a mosquito while flying upwards, towards the clouds, again.

(Just a question, have you ever read the book Silverwing? Or atleast watched the cartoon series?)

Soro screeched and gave up. He dove downwards and looked for prey.

Shade breathed a sigh of relief and went back to eating mosquitos.
