Jur watched her pups sleeping quietly. They were starving, but she could not find food so that she could make milk. She sighed, and got out from their "den". It was a shelted area under a porch. The owners of the house did not bother her, and she avoided them. Quietly, Jur made her way through the neiborhood.

Pokey growled at a rat, sniffing in the dark alley way. He didn't want to fight it, since he was small (Because beagles are pretty small...) and the rat was half his size. But there was more than one rat there, so it was too dangerous.

Jewel silently padded down an alley. She already searched the ally twice for food, but found nothing. She sighed, and headed towards a street- A dangerous street. Crossing one is how her mother died, and ever since then she's never liked crossing streets. Not only was it dangerous, but the material the dark road was made of burned her paw pads. Eventually, Jewel decided against crossing the street and instead walked along it, staying low and as hidden as possible. She didn't like being seen, even by other dogs.

Jur sniffed around, eating any little snack she could find. She went through the quiet neighborhood, to a place that sometimes had dog food out. Jur went into the yard, and smelt another dog.

Nox went into his dog house, he was glad to be a pet. Free food, baths, treats, water all the time. This is the life he thought

Pokey found himself growling. A human pup had came near him, making low, long sounds. The human reached out a hand and Pokey quickly nipped it, and the human pup cried out in pain, and ran down the alley way.

Jur also smelt food, so she went around the house to the backyard. She now saw the other dog (Nox?) and backed away slowly.
