Uther slipped out at the last minute. He snarled and ran, going in a confusing route to keep the cat from following. He stopped to get some squashed, day old titanis meat for Jur.

Fang ran out after him and watched it run below. "AND DON'T COME BACK, MANGY MUTT!" He yelled. After a while, he grabbed the carcass and dragged it away, time to find a new den.

Jur welcomed him home. "What happened to your face, Uther? You smell like cat," she said. An adventurous pup crawled to the entrance to see what was going on. It had only ever seen its mother and siblings, and Uther scared him a little. Jur picked him up and went back into the den.

Soro soon woke up, getting back up onto his feet with some creaking from the trees which had, luckily, not broken in the night. He looked at the trees, which had almost broken, each of the trunks having snapped about halfway through the tree.

That morning, all the pups ventured outside. They could now eat solids, which meant that Jur could leave the den. Uther sat by his pups, while Jur left to do some hunting. She snuck up on a couple of cats and two cubs. She'd sneak in, make off with the cubs and sneak away.

Soro tramped, quite loudly, and unknowingly to a dire wolf den.

Uther smelled cat. The awful reek made his eyes sting. He ushered the pups into the den and stood in front, hackles raised. He prepared for another fight.

Uther heard loud noises in the distance. And that smell, oh how it made him hungry. But, a little voice in his head said to hide in the den, and not to make a sound. He did so, one is not to distrust instinct.

Soro ambled carelessly toward a pile of what looked like earth and rocks. He carelessly walked over it, and then felt the ground shift beneath him and let out a trumpet in fear.

Uther burst out of the den, one of his pups in his mouth. Some of the others escaped also, but the den collapsed on the rest. A huge mammoth was bumbling in his territory and wrecking it. He barked threats at the creature, hoping it thought a large pack was nearby.

Soro turned and trumpeted at the wolf before charging, shaking his head left and right to send whatever he hit flying.

Jur heard the commotion from afar and started towards it, scared for her pups. She howled loudly to let Uther know she was near.

Uther jumped out of the mammoths way, one of the pups still in his jaws. One of the others got hit, the other pups ran into the thick of the woods behind them. He followed.

Soro trumpeted and walked away, as if nothing happened.
