"Sorry." she said, much more quietly. "I was just surprised at another Smilodon in my den.
Kuda, out of the corner of her eye, saw Guapo about to pounce on her. He glanced at her, seeing her face, and sat up straight and tall. He made a grin saying, I'm innocent! Kuda just hmed and made a look saying, Don't ever do that!

Kuda watched as the elder fell asleep. She picked up her cubs and left the den. There was a hallow tree trunk she could sleep in with her cubs. She covered in with some thick vines from earlier, and lay down to sleep. The only problem? She didn't sleep. She was thinking about the elder. She found it slightly rude for it to just barge in her den and sleep, knowing very well it wasn't hers. And she muttered something, something about annoying cubs. That almost teared it. The way she just carelessly fell asleep in front of the owners of the den who wouldn't be able to fit in with her.
In the morning, she would make sure the elder left, and didn't stay a minute longer than she woke up.

The next morning, Jur was woken up by the pups as usual. They were so needy at this age. Uther was already out, hunting or patroling. She herd him howl from miles away.

As morning arose to the sky, Kuda got up to check on the elder. She was interrupted by a howl. It was close. Too close. Dire wolves were a bid threat to an injured Smilodons and cubs.

Fang had caught a primitive horse in the night and was again feeding on it from his den this morning. He heard the howl and growled angrily. He hated dire wolves.

(O_o what is it with you and my characters?)
Uther was following the scent of primitive horse and saber tooth. Facing one of these cats alone was dangerous, but he was just the smallest bit bigger and he can fight. Uther came up on its den and hid quietly.

"Get out of here, you mangy mutt!" Fang yelled from his den as the wolf approached.

(Well, different species or same species with their behaviors can't get along well if they're carnivores. You don't see lions living in peace with hyenas.)

(True.)
"Mutt! You stupid cat! Your mother was a hampster, and your father didn't smell very nice!" he insulted the cat. He then dove into the den, snapping at anything that moved.

(Nice. Real nice. XD)
"What the heck is a hamster?!" Fang retorted before swiping at the wolf with his claws.

Kuda heard yelling and fighting, and something about a hamster, whatever that is.

"Its a... how should I know, whelp!" Uther screamed back at him. Sharp claws struck his face. He snapped back at him.

Fang backed up just a centimeter from the wolf, then leapt forward, trying to pin it and did as he did to the titanis, kill it with a fatal bite to the throat with his sabre teeth.

He was pinned to the ground, but the fangs didn't get a chance to reach his throat because he kicked his adversary off.

Fang snarled and tried to pin the wolf before it got up and again, tried to bite it.
