Snipe was knocked down the hill and tried futally to get back up. Again, don't mock her, she's just a bird.

Fang tried to pin the bird down ans sink his fangs into its neck.

Soro continued chasing the mother titanis.

Snipe strugled as she was held down. Then, icy fangs went into her skinny neck and it was over. R.I.P.

Fang decided to use the bird as a small snack to hold him over until he went hunting, which would be some time soon.

Soro was still chasing the former mother Titanis.

Jur sat outside her den. Out in her territory, the scent of titanis blood littered the air. She was a dire wolf, one of the most successful predators. She was fast, intelligent, and hunted in huge packs of twenty. Of course, she didn't have a pack that large yet. All she had was her mate and her 9 newborn pups.

Kuda got up onto her feet, head down low. Her jaw was in a large amount of pain from the kick, though the rest of her body was fine. It hurt to speak or lift her head. The cubs could do nothing to help though.

Fang sat on top of the rock for a long while, waiting for prey, and it showed itself. A herd of primitive horses were grazing, coming out from behind a line of trees and into the open. Fang quickly moved off of the rock and hurried into the trees before he was noticed. He crouched down, moving slowly, trying to get close, and one of the primitive horses was approaching the tree line to browse from a bush. Fang burst out of cover and leapt at the horse, which just avoided capture, the chase was on, but the problem was that it was running to a dire wolf den, and neither predator or prey knew. When Fang did catch the scent of two dire wolves, he was quick to change tactics, which was turn and run, the wolves were maybe roughly his size, and two didn't help. He didn't realize he was heading back towards the mother smilodon and her two cubs.

Runnignwind sighed. She was getting tired-Something told her it would be night soon. Night was dangeorus. Especially for an blind, elderly Smilodon like herself. She had to find shelter before it was night so Runningwind simply started walking.

Jur dove out of the way as a horse ran at her. She snarled at whatever careless predator chased it there. Jur stalked down into her den and lay down. Uther soon came back from hunting with a elk leg. Now that she was home watching the pups, she couldn't help him catch substantial meals like buffalo or even mammoth.

Soro noticed the sky begin to darken. He stamped towards a group of trees and leaned against some large ones which supported him, thankfully. He closed his eyes, and slept until morning.

Fang slowed to a stop, panting heavily, he needed a shelter, quick. He began wandering around, until he found an abandoned den. He'd be back out later, but for now, he'd just rest a little.

Runningwind was tired, and it was night now. She clambered into a nearby den, not knowing it belonged to another Saber tooth tiger and cubs.

Uther watched the sky darken. He was almost always watching, making sure his young family was safe. That saber tooth cat had gotten too close, he'd have to take care of him. He lay down at the entrance of the den, blocking it from anything that might be sneaking around at night.

Kuda saw the sky darken. She returned to her den with her cubs to find another saber tooth.
"WHO ARE YOU?!?!" She roared. She couldn't have another saber in her den, with cubs! But just then did she notice it was an elder who needed shelter.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" she said, hoping she didn't just kill it with her roar. (xD) "Do you need shelter for the night?"

Runningwind could smell the other Smilodons now, and sighed.
"Yes, but don't make me deaf. I'm already blind."
