Soro continued to run after the bird, he'd kill the whole family, he did last time, he'll do it again.

Her mother and sister were relieved to see her back, before they noticed the rampaging mammoth. NOw they were all running for their lives. Mom was a lot faster then them both and stayed ahead.

Soro was keeping behind, swining his head and trying to hit the birds.

(now that I think of it, birds have hollow bones and they should break easily)

Snipe's sister whos name eludes me got hit and fell to the ground. She had thought her mother would be able to handle this beast, but it turns out she couldn't.

Soro tried to trample the bird he knocked down in his chase of the carnivores.

The sister whose name still eludes me struggled to get up, and didn't in time. Another terror bird pancake was on the plain.

Fang noticed the reverse chase from on top of a rock on the side of a hill over-looking part of the plains. "Shouldn't you b-Never mind, you have good reason to run!" Fang yelled to the birds after witnessing the one become a pancake.

Snipe had no time to yell right back to the stupid mammal, so she ran towards him instead, knowing the mammoth would follow.

Soro did not follow. The young bird still relied on it's mother, so if he could get the mother, good luck to Snipe.

Fang leapt into the way of the young titanis. He was male, and therefore, larger than a female, and larger than the titanis. He roared angrily and prepared to attack it should it be necesarry.

Snipe was unafraid of the saber tooth, but the mammoth was in his general direction so she just kept running. And running. And running.

Fang waited for the Titanis to get close. "Hey bird brain, the mammoth isn't following you." He said, watching as it passed below before leaping at said bird.

Snipe jumped out of the way at the last minute. "I know, fur-ball, there's just somewhere i gotta be," she attempted a sharp peck on his skull before continuing.

Fang jumped away from the peck before leaping at her again, trying to knock her back down the hill.

Runningwind knew what had happened. Some mammoth trying to kill the terror bird...That's all she could tell.
