He is very clever for his age and has a taste for danger.He is mostly gentle and kind to all he meets and always has open arms to all who dare approach him. He is very tall and slender, but tougher than he looks. Capable of taking down dogs bigger than himself he makes a good and loyal friend. He protects his fellow canines with his life against dangers in the city. He has special eyes, his left eye light green and his right a golden yellow. His paralyzing stare has been know to cause many to freeze with fear, his hard gaze piercing right into their hearts. He has a mysterious and strange feel to those who are in his presence.

Jared stood on the side of the road, scanning for a chance to cross the busy highway with his soft eyes. The sounds of the city carelessly continuing on through the normal day, cars whizzing by and people chattering among the streets. The stench of the car exhaust and rotting food filled his nose. Seeing his chance he quickly padded across the road, looking left and right careful not to get hit. He had seen many other strays get killed by the metal death machines and wasn't going to make the same mistake anytime soon. The sidewalk finally reached his paws as he continued on through the street. His mind was set on a hotdog stand he always raided through the morning. He sat down next to a bench seated in front of the stand, a tall smelly man sitting there as he waited for his hotdog. Jared licked his jaws as he drooled over the smell of the meat. Watching the man stand up and sitting back down with a mustard covered hotdog in his hand, he made his move. Just before taking a bite from his hotdog Jared quickly snatched it from his hand and quickly darted down the sidewalk. He got a distance before turning around to see the man angry shake his fist with some crude words, Jared gave a smiled before gulping down the hotdog in one bite. He licked the mustard of his lips and quickly left the area before anyone contacted the pound, the though disgusted him. Pound, a bunch of slow minded men with huge butterfly nets who took other strays hostage to their lair. He brushed the though from his shoulders as he slipped into an alley and laying in the waterlogged box he called home with a teenage girl called Austin.

Sweet followed mystic through the streets. "Brother im hungry!" complianed the pup. he just grunted. he turned into an ally searching for food that wasnt rottten.

Jared lifted his head from his paws seeing two other strays enter the alley, he got to his feet and curiously padded over to the two. He could probably give them a paw since he could easily scale the dumpster's side with one leap. He sat a few feet from the two strangers watching them with interest, the male would most likely notice him.

He eyed the male. "Come sweet drop." he commanded. "Yes sir!" siad the pup folling after him as they left the ally. he looked at the infected wound on his sholder.

Jonnah tilted his head as the two left. He shrugged and started to pad back to the box, stopping scenting the wound on the males shoulder. He quickly darted out of the alley passed the two and stopping them in their tracks. "Whoa! Maybe you should have your wound attended to, Austin will help you get it from getting infected." he said in a friendly manor, trying not to command the two.

He stared at him for a moment before walking past him. "Sorry mystic is kinda... a loner!" siad sweet. Mystic didnt look back. "Hurry." he siad to her.

Jonnah watched the two walk past him and continue on their way, his tail stopped wagging. "Alright, but your welcome to come back if you wish!" he hollered to the two before turning back around and returning to his box. Austin would be back soon, she had went to collect change from the citizens of the city.

Mystic felt the stinging pain growing but pushed forward he saw a small hole under a building witch was perfect for his sister to hide in. she squeezed in and he layed next to the hole.

Jared watched the teenage girl walk into the alley, scratching his head as she sat down next to him. Jared licked her face and put his head on her shoulder as he peered out of the alley-way and into the street full of bustling civilians. She gave him a smile before covering up with the tattered blanket Jared had drug out of the garbage. Jared looked down at his friend with worried eyes, he knew the two-legged didn't live like this. She deserved better than what he could give her, he knew he would have to say good bye to her to be any help. Putting his head between his paws he laid down next to Austin to help keep her warm as the nigh approached.

The pup fell asleep but Mystic stayed awake gaurding his sister.

Jared waited for Austin to fall asleep before he started his plan to help the girl. He pulled the blanket over her body to ensure she stayed warm as possible while he was gone, he made his way quietly down the street. The town seemed dead in the night, only a few people here and there. He would need to be careful the pound cruised around at night and he didn't have anyone to hide behind as he padded down the side of the road.
