This roleplay is meant to be a horror type roleplay based on the novel/film 'The Plague Dogs', but since younger kids frequent this forum, we'll have to keep it somewhat kid friendly. ^^'

::The Plot::
Around ten dogs have escaped from an animal research laboratory. All have been said to carry a plague, and signs of it are already showing up in the animals around the site. Apparently the laboratory is dedicated to finding ways to cure disease using animals, particularly dogs, as their test subjects. The process is never without pain and most animals, if not all, are severely sick and injured beyond the point of repair. Many lose their lives.
Only shortly after the breakout reports of a horrible disease that has frenzied the wildlife into raging beasts with no fear of a man's gun are all over the radio. Most towns are all but completely deserted and are now only evidence of what was. Thankfully, the plague has yet to spread any further than the three towns below the mountain where the lab sits.
The dogs are said to be the blame. Somehow they have released the plague by escaping the lab, and some may even be carrying it. None of them show signs of being infected. Are they all free of The Plague? Who knows. The disease may be laying dormant, waiting to strike. Despite this and all of the obstacles before them, they will try to survive. The only way to do this is to get as far as possible from the site and find somewhere that will keep safe and free of the disease.

::The Infected::
• Two dogs will carry this disease. When you enter this Roleplay, your dog risks being one of the two. Each dog gets a number assigned by the 'Scientists' (cough-me-cough) and I will randomly pick two numbers about halfway into the RP.
The roleplayers of the two dogs that are chosen will receive a PM.
Dogs that are infected have goals as well. They are driven without control over themselves to do these two things.
1- Infect as many as the others as you can.
The disease is transferred through saliva like rabies. So biting, sharing food, any of that will infect your fellow travelers.
2- Live as long as possible, avoid letting others know you are infected.
If someone finds out, it will be up to them to either kill you or let you live.
Note*: Infected animals will not attack any of the infected dogs, so roaming the wilderness holds no risk for them.
How you go about this is your decision. Wildly attacking and then retreating to the shadows to watch for another opportunity? Or perhaps you'll try a more stealthy strategy, pretending to be fine and somehow getting the disease into your friend's food. The choice is yours.

::Setting & Time::
The RP starts around midnight in the black of night. The laboratory is silent, as it seems the scientists have left it and all inside to die.
The Laboratory is in a remote site in the mountains. The terrain is rocky and desolate, with a few trees dotting the land and constant snowfall. At the base of this mountain lies forests, and three deserted towns. Even further than that a large body of water, rumored to have an island, but it can be weeks and even months away. This is where these dogs need to get to before they can consider themselves safe.

::Your Enemies::
• Wildlife
The animals around the laboratory are all infected, including wolves, badgers, and even bears. They will attack anything that moves. Don't fight the infected, just run. Failing to do so can result in you being infected or dead. The further away from the site you get, the safer it will become.
Hunt at your own risk.
•Humans
People are probably best left alone if encountered, for they may kill you out of fear of the plague. However, they can provide food and maybe even temporary protection. Whether or not they are immune is uncertain. None have been bitten/attacked and survived long enough to know.
