we're probably gonna move soon so we might not be able to take ze feeshez.

Yes, that's good. Making animals suffer for convenience is not cool.

But make sure you have a good aquarium lid, and don't forget to close it when you're done with the care stuff. Cats + Critters that fit into their mouth = Kitty gets an expensive snack.
