Fox Packs On Web Earth

Post by DarkCheetah »

In real life, foxes are alone. but web earth, especially world 1, is multiplayer. Do you think foxes should be able to make packs or groups? answer in your opinion.

Hello there,
I'm going to move this to Game Discussion, seeing as it's not a form of roleplay. ;D

Well it is a game and not real life, so it depends on what the person his/herself thinks. If the person playing the fox chooses to stay alone, that is his/her decision, while other people controlling their fox prefer being in groups.
That's how I think of it, at least.

Actually, foxes DO sometimes live together in real life in family groups known as "tribes" (forgive me if I have the wrong terminology). It is formed by the mating pair (the mother and father) and then their children.

Well sometimes an adult offspring from a mating pair will remain with them to help raise the next litter. I don't think all of them stay, however. Besides, players can play alone or seek others out. The whole pack thing should be an advanced option anyway.

Yes I think there should be. I have heard of fox packs I have even seen a documentary including a small family pack of arctic foxes. So I have heard of real life fox packs, they just do not usually get in as big of packs and such as their well known cousin the wolf sometimes can get to.

I think we should be able to make family packs. The family/pack would be made out of you, your mate, and the surviving pups, and when the next winter came, several of the pups would go off to find mates while the staying... I'm not sure what they'd do, but anyway, I think we should have Family packs.

I think family packs are a good idea, and I agree with Alone,
but I think having them stay should be rare, maybe 5/30
percent of the time? I don't know about the exact numbers
but pups that stay shouldn't happen often, to keep up with
the realistic factor of the game. Other than that I think
family packs are awesome.

I think foxes should be able to make packs it would be pretty cool. and give basic players a chance to make packs other than just advance gamers. :)

I think they should be able to just have a smaller pack... maybe a limit of 3-4 foxes per pack?

I, myself, don't really agree to this, as foxes are mainly loners.
I mean, if a real player would like to, join a fox pack on the forum, or you can easily find real player foxes to hang out with in game.

I personally don't think that it should be an actual feature. Players can make packs like they do now, but I don't think they should be able to make packs like coyotes and wolves can.
