Condor-napping?

I was a condor chick in world one. Everything was normal. Killed my siblings. Ate their flesh. La dee da. But after a while my mom stopped coming back. I was just wondering if it's a glitch, or if something killed her? I don't think any animals prey on condors, but I just wanted to be sure. Thx! <3

As far as I can tell, it is completely normal for a NPC mother to forget they have a real person child after their NPC babies are dead. What I'm thinking so far is that it actually may be a type of glitch. NPC mother recognizes NPC children's deaths, doesn't seem to care for the real person's livelihood.
Maybe it's because she knows what you did and now she's too depressed and can't bare the circumstances of the children she's lost, knowing they didn't deserve it.
Ha, what am I kidding, it's just a game!

I've noticed this, too, and again, the NPC mother left and did not come back after I killed one of the NPC chicks. I later noticed her outside, just sort of hanging out in one spot.

So maybe it only takes one chick, then. It seems to happen for a lot of mothers. It seems like mothers that provide milk still return but other than that they seem to be likely to freak out and not come back.
Looks like another thing I'll have to have fun with testing.
