Re: Off-Topic Topic
The dino was just a little practice with making a gif. :D Wanted to do something simple and easy, but try to work on making it act a bit more real - its belly gets bigger as it takes a breath to yawn! But still looks too... still. Probably could animate other parts to help, but... I don't expect any...

I'm sorry they're not a whole ton of interesting or playable games. D: I thought more would be suitable for all ages... I can try to find more! :s And turns out Dragon's Prophet doesn't work on Windows XP either, bummer. lol (EDIT: okay so I signed up on the European's site, think the other is NA......

Re: Haven and Hearth
It's a shame the developers stopped working on HnH... They're too busy with Salem now. Isn't it relatively dead now, too? So few people play anymore, I thought... But I guess that makes it safer, if the big factions are out for the most part. Good times though. :D

It's technically not proof. An image isn't proof of happiness, you'd have to witness it yourself. But I'd agree with what it's trying to say. Personally I think you're happy when you have something to strive for. Not solely during your work attempts, I've no doubt there are people who can be content...

Re: Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
I should add, at least for the PC - there are various mods you can download, and a few you can do yourself pretty easily by editing text files. A lot of the downloadable mods are behavior-oriented, to make the dinosaurs behave more realistically. I'm currently unaware of any object or dinosaur addit...

Re: Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
I haven't played JP:OG in an eternity... But from what I recall... JP:OG is less cartoon-y and has less features than ZT, and personally JP:OG feels like it has a shorter end-game point compared to ZT... But JP:OG also is more oriented towards creating natural habitat exhibits than a simple zoo, and...

Re: Off-Topic Topic
Bad events happen; people die everywhere and all the time. It could be starvation, accidents, murder, suicide... It could be a number of things. But why is it that we pick and choose what events to emphasize, and then we ignore the rest? There are numerous instances I never even get to hear about. I...

Re: Games where you can be an animal.
I'm not hating on you, you are entitled to your opinion, but people DO have their favorite animals, you know. While you think foxes won't fit in, others can always look forward to it or think the opposite. If you think a fox couldn't stand up to larger predators, look at the Pomeranian, that tiny li...

Re: Off-Topic Topic
Talk to the owners about it. Explain your situation, intentions, wants... Express your concern, though show that you only mean well and want what's best. Although not everyone can be reasoned with, and sometimes you just... really do have to stay out of others' business, I suppose. But unless there ...

Then they're possibly concerned that they'll "lose" their pet. Cat gets accustomed to getting attention/etc., goes back for more... And they "lose" a pet when it doesn't return at night. Or there's the people who will try to steal pets, even... They leave their cat out NOT becaus...

Re: Off-Topic Topic
It might be for good intentions. Outdoors animals are more likely to be dirty, and carry diseases and bugs. My dog is only limited to our backyard, and ended up with a tick the other day. Trouble that was... Anywho. Even if YOU don't get sick, there's always a chance you can pass on harmful germs to...

Revive it then. :p It's not locked. Sure, it may be a bit inactive, but then you just have to post and bring it back to activity. Otherwise you'll have a couple dozen repeat threads as they become "inactive" again and again and again. And it can be nice to keep it all in one, you get to se...

Re: Off-Topic Topic
It could be either a dog or cat problem, but you hear more about foxes going after chickens than cats. Since chickens are a ground bird and confined to space, it's much more inviting, anyways. Servals hunt guinea fowl, etc. etc. so I see no problem with house cats eyeing up chickens. Anyways, a conf...
